SEEKING A WAY FORWARD ... since it has happened here

San Francisco twilight
Taken while eating in the exterior courtyard of the downtown restaurant, Le Colonial, which occupies the space where Trader Vic's used to be. Great space in which to dine, somewhat expensively, with friends.
I looked at the entrance and said to myself "pseudo-Algerian." Palms, wicker chairs, fans...
But the "fusion cuisine" turned out to be pricey pseudo-Vietnamese.
Don't know whether there are any colons anywhere in the vicinity. Not my kind of hangout.
Nell -- we're all burned out. But in Maggie Thatcher's deathless formulation: going on = TINA -- there is no alternative. Take care of yourself; recharge.

Vietnamese? Algerian? It seems like an odd name for a restaurant in San Francisco...
