As the
Supreme Court deliberates on Arizona's anti-immigrant law (SB 1070), a small determined band are making their way across the country on a bus, speaking up for the Constitutional rights of all people.
At 24th and Mission Streets yesterday morning, they were collecting signatures on their petition to President Obama. You can sign it yourself
here.
A young woman who has worked to pass the
DREAM Act spoke out …
as did one of the domestic workers from the house cleaning coop,
La Colectiva.
Their cause was popular this sunny Sunday morning.
The van will carry the campaigners
across the country speaking out and gathering signatures along the way.
