On pilgirmage

Any blog posts are likely to be single photos for the next month; I don't know how much connectivity or communicative energy I'll have, but walking 321 km is sure to teach me much as well as take a lot out of me.

Tend your souls; resist and protect much.

  2. I also wish you well. Not to bring you down, but it turns out the police inactivity in Charlottesville was worse than I thought.

  3. You left just in time -- missed all the preoccupation with the Hurricane HARVEY. hOPE YOU'RE DOING WELL. Watch out for blisters...

  4. You're probably just fooling us -- you're on an island in the Bahamas, drinking pina coladas and basking in the sun, knowing that we're all worried about you, climbing mountains and traversing deserts... Get that massage this afternoon -- you deserve it!!!

  5. A friend of ours did the pilgrimage and came back totally transformed. She even changed her name!

  6. I doubt very much I'll be totally transformed, though will be perhaps deepened. This is physically and also psychically tough. Radical simplicity isn't easy for an old American. But so far good.

  7. It took awhile to realize that you are posting to the FB site rather than here -- I will limit myself to looking at FB while you are gone... Looking forward to your return to the States,

    I am,

    Sincerely,

    Teresa
