Just pawns on a chessboard

We knew he'd be at his most dangerous when his ramparts of lies and corruption began to collapse. Perhaps he would start a war?

Nope, he moves to take our troops out of one and confounds his audience on all sides.

What's a war here or there? We have plenty of wars to spare around the world.

listening to the rhetoric reminds me of Vietnam with how we were told we had to stay there forever as otherwise domino effect-- which never happened. I don't know what the right choice is with Syria, but 2000 troops is supposed to make all the difference??? I think this is all manipulative as the military can continue having bombings from Iraq. It is said Rand Paul influenced Trump as he's never thought we should be there. I don't think Bernie did either-- although now he might take the other side given how the left has to find fault with anything Trump does.

And then we have Saudi Arabia, who clearly is no friend and that guy leading them is a murderous thug if you read all the ones he's had killed legally. It's an ugly region and we are supposed to fix it with our warriors who end up with legs blown off or killed?
