Current conditions outside my front window have put me in mind of Piglet's plight.
To everyone feeling (or actually) surrounded by water, do yourself a favor and read A.A. Milne's story of Winnie, Piglet, and Christopher Robin in the original (long before Disney) version.
... it wasn't much good having anything exciting like floods, if you couldn't share them with somebody.
