At the grocery store, two merchants meet and greet:
It's tough times here in this once booming bucolic playland. Summer business has to carry many residents through the whole year."How's it going?"
"It's slow."
"Me too; it's getting scary ..."
We always knew (or should have) that it was going to take a year before the economy improved for ordinary people. We are only half there and maybe it will take even longer.
