An inquiry to a candidate

Dear Senator Rubio,

It is my strong Christian conviction that killing is the wrong way to respond to injustice. Violence just makes for more violence. Jesus said: "Love your enemies, and pray for those that persecute you ..." and "For all who take the sword will perish by the sword." That seems pretty clear.

You've recently declared in response to the case of that Kentucky clerk who believes her faith means she must not issue marriage licenses to gay couples:

“We should seek a balance between government’s responsibility to abide by the laws of our republic and allowing people to stand by their religious convictions,”

Does that mean you would support me if I refused to pay taxes to support the U.S. network of some 800-900 military bases all over the world?
