Friday cat blogging

Not all cats are furry. This is a maneki-neko, literally Japanese "beckoning" or welcoming cat. They are much favored by Chinese-origin merchants in San Francisco.

This one doesn't look all that happy.

Here, the cat on the shelf hides amidst a jumble of other items.

    Okay, just this once. I prefer live cats. I have one of these cats though and one of our live cats likes to lie next to it every day.
