Spring at Stow Lake

Not many photos lately. That's what three weeks of bronchitis will do. The height of spring passed when I wasn't getting out, but here are a few weekday afternoon shots from a slow walk around Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park.

The pedestrians were mostly older Chinese and Russian couples.

And an occasional earnest parent.

Everyone wanted a bit of sun...

...including three dykes in a rent-a-rowboat.

This fellow will be surrounded by his offspring soon.

Stow Lake is a great spot for urban wildlife, thought I didn't see the blue heron which is sometimes around.

It was a lovely, peaceful afternoon.
