May Day in the Mission
It was a lovely day for a small parade, maybe 300-400 hundred people representing a variety of causes walking down Mission Street.
A brass band played "The Internationale" and old communists marched.
And so did lots of other folks, young and old.
This was about solidarity between trade unionists, immigrants, peace activists -- all of us who need a different society.
With so many fights, it is hard to pick just one.
The pink drill team in front of the Gray Panthers was particularly exuberant.
