Dumb election punditry

It would be hard to imagine a sillier headline or a sillier premise.
Axios marvels that Joe Biden "has consumed less and less of the national conversation while his polling lead over President Trump has swelled ... Biden has been able to grow his lead by keeping the focus on Trump..."

Their evidence is that Biden is not getting a lot of Google searches.

It seems never to have occurred to this writer that both Trump and Biden are keeping all the national attention focused on Trump.

Absorbing our attention is the President's oxygen. Even though he might be a more successful candidate if he took some interest in something other than himself, he can't do it. Consultants want him to turn away and do his job -- but does anyone think he can "act presidential" for more than a few hours?

He can be counted on to flub his own message in order to draw attention back to himself -- his greatness, his genius, his wealth, etc.

Joe Biden's chances of defeating this fool grow whenever Trump can be goaded into proclaiming his wonderfulness.

No idea why I would google Biden as he is a constant in my emails and on FB. Can't say I really understood the headline any way. I'm not hopeful in polls either. Refuse to hold my breath until Nov. though as that is a long time and I don't have enough breath. :-)
