Walking San Francisco, I don't see that many outdoor cats. Too many cars around here. But the other day, in what is a pretty posh neighborhood, this beauty crossed the sidewalk ahead of me.
Instead of hiding, this cat came right up to the stranger with the camera, rubbed, and confidently asked to be patted. Oh, such security!

That's because this cat is at least part Maine Coon, if not full. They're the gentle giants of the cat world, and they're super friendly.
