You too can make a difference ...

Get the word from the source:

Why I’m phone banking voters... sometimes people feel hopeless that their involvement doesn’t matter. Then we call them, we share our stories and how we impacted and in this together, and that helps encourage them to make that step needed to make changes to our current administration.

Due to our current administration not doing the right thing sooner about the pandemic I haven’t been able to visit my parents, who are getting older and not in the best health conditions. It almost been one year since we’ve spent time together.

I wonder how receptive people are to accepting phone calls now with all the ability to screen calks as phones have, but expect they're effective when able to engage someone in conversation. Years ago I went door-to-door and getting people to keep the door open to talk was the initial challenge.

Hi Joared: Actually, this year may be a little easier than sometimes. I think more people answer their phones. And some are quite chatty, having been cooped up for fear of COVID. Of course, with all the early voting, we'll be down soon enough to people who don't answer or for whatever reason are reluctant to talk. But it's not nearly as bad as I had feared.
