This could happen to you

If your partner takes up spinning and knitting socks, your light fixtures could begin to look like this.

Of course, if you are lucky, you might end up wearing this. Not a bad trade off during a winter when we're trying to keep the thermostat down.

It looks like an Eva Hesse sculpture, but not as tormented. Keep warm, and wear wool. It really does work, something most Californians can't quite seem to figure out.

Love it! And the hat is a great idea. Remember we lose most of our body heat through our head. So a warm hat makes a big difference. I find that with a hat, gloves and a scarf I don't need a heavy coat as often. That makes it easier to walk around. (I do still have my ten-pound coat from Boston days.)

lovely! I always forget that I need to keep knitting during the warm months so that I have warm wool things to wear during the cold months.
