At 4:50 today here at latitude 37° 46' 29" the sunset was bright and very red -- too intense to be captured by the iPhone camera with which I snapped this.
When I turned around, an enormous moon was already high in the sky.
Apparently I am not alone in seeing this as the largest full moon of the year.
