Health care reform shorts: Visual aids from Speaker Pelosi

The polls are unequivocal: we want the chance to escape miserly insurance companies that only dole out medical care under threat of the law. Majorities of citizens are convinced we could do better.

Doctors, who know even more about how insurance companies cripple their ability to deliver needed care, want the public option even more. Both graphics from Speaker Pelosi's site.

As of yesterday, Senate Majority Leaders Harry Reid was offering weasel words about whether we'll be allowed to have what majorities want.

Well, this just proves that in the halls of governing the public be damned. Remember this every election from now on and vote the rascals out.

Support for single payer is even stronger among the American public, but Pelosi has kept it off the table.

libhom: you are right of course, but my Congresscritter so seldom does something I more or less approve of, I try to highlight it when she does.
