This made me reflect. Like so many people, when I was a teenager, I felt as if I would never be able to fit into the world of adults. I felt "different" (and I was) -- and the adults were just weird! But there certainly were teachers who told me I had something to offer. This made tough times bearable. Every kid should have that; schools should be organized so teachers can provide that! One out of three students in California can't identify a single caring adult at school.
Every young person deserves someone who cares. Every teacher and principal deserves the support and resources to support the next generation.Believe in me campaign ... Californians for Justice
