Found item II
I have no idea why people in the San Francisco Mission district put oddities in trees, but they do. Repeatedly. I encountered this one on an early morning walk.
Maybe there is a story about the teddy in the tree. Could a toddler be exercising his pitching arm? Or a mean big brother throwing it up there to tease his sibling? Maybe a mother just go tired of washing the stuffed bear and decided to get rid of it. ;-)
What? You've never heard of Santa Teddista, the Transgender Blue Bear? She perches in trees and likes offerings of pupusas, BART passes, and writings from the works of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. This is clearly a wayside shrine.
