The message from Bill Maher at the top of the display reads:
We have this fantasy that our interests and the interests of the super rich are the same -- like somehow the rich will eventually get so full they explode, and the candy will rain down on the rest of us. Like they are some kind of piñata of benevolence. But here's the thing about a piñata, it doesn't open on its own. You have to hit it with a stick.

If those discussing this last night are right, he might be at his peak for the Republican party-- and his 30% is just within his party. The ones who like someone mean and bullheaded which is why they went for Bush but will they do that again?
What scares me though is the rest of the 16. They all would undo everything that's happened in the Obama years and some are very extreme regarding women's issues and promoting wars. Several are as mean and shortsighted as Trump. Listening to any of them talk about what they would do scares me. Fiorina is only appealing to those who know nothing about how she operated as a CEO. Carson is a religious ideologue and on it goes :(
If it's really going to be Hillary on our side, I just hope she doesn't have something else back there to throw this election into the Republican camp :( The nation can't afford any of them if we truly want to move forward on any of the issues that threaten us most. And frankly the right is being so duped by what they are being told that is that they won't be electing anybody good for the nation or the world-- at least as I see it. :(
